DFIS-Cloud is based on the same concept as the already launched and
well kown DFIS-BT module and follows the same guidelines "Plug & Play".
DFIS-Cloud will be available in different variants soon, to cover all needs for
information about meteorology data in all aviation sports.

The high accuracy basic measurement readings as rel. air humidity,
air temperature and air preassure are processed and deliver further
important aviation information. Amonst the other processed information
as dewpoint, altitude and climb/sink rate it replys the answer to the ever
emergent question: "What's the current cloud base right now, just at this place".
Even at blue thermal conditions DFIS-Cloud tells you the accurate climb base hight.

All measured and calculated data are reported on an integrated LCD display or sent
to external devices via different transmission technologies as Bluetooth,
Radio Frequency or Serial Inteface.

The specific FLARM-Version inserts the meteorology data into the FLARM data
stream and transmitts those data to the PDA (running XCSoar) via Bluetooth.
